While it is essential to know yourself, I believe that understanding others is equally just as important.
Welcome to the second part of the STAR personality type series! In today’s video, we’re going to dive into the T-type personality and we’re going to see what particular traits the Theory type of people have.
Hi and welcome back to another video. Soccer team said know thyself I believe that’s super important I also believe that it’s important to know others today we’re going to continue on the topic this is part two of a four-part series in communication and identifying personality types not only inside of yourself and others so if you are unfamiliar with me I am Tom ‘batman’ Ziegelbauer and I help businesses and entrepreneurs grow and scale through the use of technology.
So we’re just going to get after it here today talking about the second part of the star personality type system so it’s stability theory action and relationship oriented people and people typically have a dominant personality and they have one that then modifies that behind there so through this entire series.
I encourage you to identify yourself which one of those are you and then as you’re going throughout your day go hmm I think this person may be a t or I think this person may be an a or this person may be an r or an s depending on what they are and see what some of these signals that they send out are because we want to resonate with people turning them on on the things that are important to them and avoid the resistance of the things that turn them off.
So we’re going to cover t or the theory side of things here today so here’s the things that they like as an example electronics cutting-edge technology new gadgets computers internet chess teaching statistics the unknown science fiction star wars music twitter text messaging knowing puns philosophy, quality history, science facts math figures being prepared progress smart people and intelligence obscure facts and trivia research time alone to think absolute principles comprehension.
Get to the point prospered puzzles sudoku rule of 72 discovery history sci-fi channels computer games comics things take apart and then try to put them back together concepts Rubik’s cube questions seeing it all from different angles excel spreadsheets being different mysteries and finding a better way.
Now this is only 12 of all people out there as being their dominant personality and be very very careful especially with these fringe ones this is one of the two that is a fringe type personality a lot of times people go oh this person is a theory oriented person and that’s their dominant person when I was going through this whole program and identifying myself and identifying other personality types everybody’s like oh he’s a t he’s got to be a t.
Actually I’m not maybe if you watch through to the end you’ll figure out what actually turns me on those are the things that you want to talk about in terms of drawing people in and commonalities to them because everybody has a mix of all four.
Let’s talk about the things that you want to avoid when having a conversation with a t repetition they hate repetition they also hate wasting time stupidity senseless conversations noisy loud people too much talk and no info commercials impulsive spur of the moment a lot of these are also very similar to a lot of the s-type personality types.
So that we went over in another video hopefully there’ll be a card to that drama over-emotional indecisive people who act without thinking touchy-feely oh man if you want to drive a tee up the wall go give them a hug boring job people who think they know something and don’t dominating people illogical people being wrong empty-headed people.
Exaggerations constantly explaining people going off on tangents so what’s the goal in this entire series is one to identify yourself identify others know the things that turn them on so you can resonate with them and commemorate adopt and talk about the things that turn them on it’s all Dale Carnegie how to win friends and influence people talk about the commonalities right.
